Shelly Fears is a Maryland attorney and a licensed Title Insurance Agent for Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. She holds a B.S. degree in Decisions and Information Sciences from the University of Maryland and a JD/MBA degree from Widener University. She has over 20 years of experience in the real estate and title industry. She has managed both large and small title companies including one of her own, handled claims for a national underwriter, was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a popular title and settlement software product where she also reconciled escrow accounts and trained many title agents in all aspects of the title insurance industry. She is currently the President of CU Title Insurance Agency, LLC in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Shelly is a native of Cecil County, Maryland who relocated to the Greater Baltimore area when she passed the bar in 1993. She currently resides in Pasadena, Maryland with her husband. Shelly is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Land Title Association and she is also an active member of the Maryland Bar Association.

Jennifer Leak is a licensed Title Producer for Maryland, DC and Virginia and a licensed Maryland Notary. She has over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry. During these 10+ years she has worked in various aspects of the business including refinances, purchases, foreclosures and handling transactions nationwide. Jennifer started in this industry typing commitments and documents for a local title company and quickly moved up to processing files from beginning to end for every state in the country. She was then able to work at a foreclosure attorney's office processing REO sales and dealing with other aspects of the foreclosure process. She then went to work at a title company closely tied to a large Realtor's office, where she was able to focus on purchases and refinances with several different lenders. At the end of 2005 an opportunity to join a title company that was just starting arose and she became the first employee of CU Title Insurance Agency, LLC. She is currently the Manager of CU Title Insurance Agency, LLC.

Jennifer is a native of Montgomery County, Maryland and currently resides in northern Charles County, Maryland. She is a member of the MLTA and VLTA.

Robyn Okazaki is a licensed Title Producer for Maryland, DC and Virginia and a licensed Maryland Notary. She has over 12 years of experience in the real estate industry and over 30 years in customer service. During the last 12 years she has worked in various aspects of the business including refinances, purchases and 1031 exchanges. Robyn takes great pride in her work and believes her customer service skills are her best asset. She is currently a processor for CU Title where she handles up to 100 files at a time, including purchase transactions. She opens files, orders abstracts and payoffs, types binders, reviews and clears title, schedules closings and prepares HUD-1 settlement statements and lender packages.

Robyn is a lifelong resident of Charles County and has been married for over 25 years and has one son. She enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends.

Lisa Dietz has over 16 years of experience in the real estate and title industry. She has worked for both large and small title companies. She is currently a processor for CU Title where she handles up to 100 files at a time, including all second mortgage transactions. She opens files, orders abstracts and payoffs, types binders, reviews and clears title, schedules closings and prepares HUD-1 settlement statements and lender packages.

Lisa is a native of Annapolis, Maryland and has resided in the Edgewater area for over 20 years. She currently resides in Deale, Maryland.

Jewel Carpenter is a licensed Title Producer for Maryland and a licensed Maryland Notary. She is currently a processor for CU Title, where she opens files, orders abstracts, and payoffs, types binders, reviews and clears titles, schedules closings and prepares HUD-1 settlement statements and lender packages, assists post-closing, and conducts settlements. Jewel has over six years of experience in the title industry, having previously worked at a well-known local title company where she handled refinances, short sales, purchases, and foreclosures. Jewel was previously a licensed Maryland Realtor so she has a clear understanding of the real-estate transaction from start to finish. Jewel strives to meet the goal of making everyone feel knowledgeable and at ease through the entire closing process that, in turn, allows the uniqueness of each transaction to be handled with professionalism and confidence.

Jewel is a native of Fairfax County, Virginia and currently resides in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Fern Cecil is a licensed Title Producer for Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. She is also a Notary Public. She currently holds the position of Post Closer of residential property closings for both purchase and refinance transactions.

Starting in the mortgage industry in 1978 where she held various positions in Mortgage Loan Servicing, she made the transition to the title industry in 2001 as a Title Processor. Over the next several years she was afforded the experience of working with several attorneys, including a current Assistant Attorney General, where she gained a great deal of knowledge of title procedures, processes and business best practices. This knowledge has allowed Fern to handle many aspects of the title insurance industry, including title review, curative, escrow administration, foreclosures, REO's and short sales. It has also helped facilitate her ability to resolve title issues quickly and efficiently. Her combined knowledge of the mortgage and title industries gives her a well-rounded perspective that enables her to understand every aspect of a title transaction.

Fern is a native of Baltimore and currently resides in Pasadena, Maryland with her husband.
